It was the night of the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, and actually the only highlight of this year's Chinese New Year celebration. My cousin Lillian invited me to her house for a barbeque dinner exclusively for close friends and relatives only.
There was a lamb on the spit and then lots of rib eyes steak, and lovely chicken sausages. Then there was additional fried rice, stir fried vegetables, curry chicken and 'shark fins soup'.. Minus the sharks fin but just as delicious, made with crabmeat, sweet corn and eggy soup.. All made by the master chef, Johann, my cousin Lillian's husband. The food was mouth wateringly superb. And the company? Excellent.. Naturally.. :)
